Each day the estate is served by many hundreds of contractors who are required to be processed. Canary Wharf Group have now added a further layer of security for its tenants by using IDscan's Visitor authentication system to verify the identities of its contractors. |

Interserve were reassured by the fact that Idscan holds the largest available library of documents in the world and is committed to researching, developing and adding new documents and authentication techniques. |
Airport

A major international airport based in the Middle East strives to lead its peers in terms of innovation, customer focus and security. The client had been using basic airport MRZ readers which failed to authenticate documents or offer an automated analysis. After carefully completing a thorough review of the market during a six month trial of 5 options, the airport selected IDscan's immigration system based on accuracy, speed and reliability. In a test of 30 fake documents presented in a like for like test, IDscan was the only system trialled that accurately detected all forgeries and altered documents. |

This client required foreign workers to register with the immigration department within 10 days of arriving in the principal country , then to re-register every 30 days. IDscan's systems were selected to authenticate visas, IDs and passports as well as quicken the process within the immigration department.

Mobile Retail

IDscan worked with 3 Mobile to build an ID scanning system that completely automated the authentication process for the in-store agent. During August 2010 IDscan rolled out 325 ID and passport authentication systems across 3 Mobile's entire UK retail network.
The client wanted to increase the range of IDs accepted when customers applied for contracts in-store, as well as the ability to prevent retail fraud aided by the use of fake, altered or bogus identity documents. |
Major International Bank - Foreign Exchange

Regional foreign exchange regulations within certain territories required this client to examine how ID transaction information was collected and stored to meet financial regulation requirements. The challenge was to minimize the transaction speed for their customers, ensure that ID transaction information was collected and stored to meet financial regulations whilst integrating IDscan OCR technology into an already established FX transaction platform. |
Casino group

Changes in gaming regulation liberalized the process for general public entry into regulated gaming environments. IDscan biometrics was asked to integrate IDscan OCR into an established CRM and enrolment solution to improve the entrance flow of customers into the casino. |
Tobacco Company

Instructed by a Swiss based marketing company. IDscan Bespoke was requested to customise IDscan's Intouch biometric membership system to create a multi user data collection system. Legislation dictated participants were required to prove they were of smoking age before sampling tobacco products by scanning their ID. Answered a series of marketing questions for which they participants were rewarded with samples and entry to selected high end Swiss nightclub events. The clubs was authorised and recorded by biometric fingerprints which were taken at the time of interview, enabling the agency to ensure customers only applied for complimentary samples on one occasion. |
Fitness club

Content with their existing membership software the need to issue and reissue bar coded membership cards appeared to be the only weak link in the incumbent system. IDscan Bespoke was brought in to integrate a biometric fingerprint system to replace the need for customers to bring a membership card with them on each visit. |
Public space

We have been commissioned to build a human traffic flow counter incorporating facial biometrics, designed to count the total number of people inside a pre-defined multiple entry and exit space, at any given time. The commissioning client has also requested a web-based live statistics module breaking down total numbers in the venue at any one time, attendance per hour, automatic alert to over capacity and male to female ratios. |
